As a Front Desk Sales team member you will be helping run a clean, friendly and well maintained gym. You are passionate about health and fitness and can present our gym benefits to potential members and assist them in choosing the right membership option for them. You assist in running all “front of house” fitness operations, with a strong focus on premium customer service as well as meeting sales expectations and working as a team player in all aspects of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Greets and introduces all members and guests with a warm and welcoming smile
-Has a thorough knowledge of, adheres to, and enforces company policies and procedures as they pertain to gym operations
-Provides a high level of customer service and inspiration to members and guests
-Expeditiously, gracefully, and effectively handles member situations and questions
-Handles member service account issues
-Maintains information of gym, background, philosophy, facilities, staff and policies.
-Generates sales though company and employee team members outreach and promotions
-Enjoy marketing, making outbound calls, and getting referrals
-Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills
-Aid and maintains referral program per company procedures
-Able to follow up on all prospects per company procedures
-Able to convert new leads to members
-Able to effectively use the phone and communicate with phone inquiries and convert them to appointments-Able to take take and deliver messages proficiently
-Able to use and aid in maintaining group x, personal training, and front desk appointment software
-Responsible for promoting and selling memberships to potential new members and selling renewals/upgrades to current gym members
-Able to give effective membership tours to prospective members and guests, creating a relationship with them, determining their wants, needs, and goals and matching them to the correct membership and training packages
-Actively sell all items in our pro shop, keep product stocked, and restock log up to date
-Keep supplies stocked and re-stock log up to date
-Keep front desk area, front area, and staff area clean, clutter free, and orderly/organized
-Able to maintain cleaning log and clean and keep organized the front area, locker rooms, weight, cardio, functional, and group x rooms in addition to re-racking all weights and equipment and other cleaning duties as assigned
-Able to complete all membership paperwork and all other reports accurately
-Able to prepare for, attend, and actively participate in weekly meetings

Required Education, Certification, Skills and Experience:
-At least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma required-CPR/AED & First Aid certification (or must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
-A great communicator with excellent customer service skills with experience
-Must be confident and have a friendly and outgoing personality that enjoys social interaction but also be patient, a courteous listener, and able to show empathy
-Be able to accommodate the needs of others with a high tolerance level for conflict
-Solid verbal and written communication skills required. You need to enjoy talking to people and they generally need to like talking to you.
-Able to multi-task and excel in a busy environment
-Front desk experience preferred
-Organized, precise and accurate, goal oriented, independent, resourceful, problem solver, multitasked, and diligent
-Be able to follow instructions and retain them
-Be a team player-Maintain professional appearance and behavior
-Previous sales experience preferred although not necessary as we can teach you everything you need to know
-Enthusiastic, super motived and eager to learn, the ability to learn - towards our company and job
-Proficient and savvy with technology
-Computer skills required – Basic MS Office (excel and word) programs, internet, and basic computer software use
-Health and Fitness minded people strongly preferred
-Flexible to work day, evening and or weekend hours as needed
